Aircraft Maintenance

Traveling has always been my passion. If I had more money, I would have traveled all over the world. I always see myself in a different country, exploring the places there, the culture and the food. Whenever I travel, I make sure to plan my itenerary well. That includes choosing the best airline for my transportation.

The invention of airplanes has made traveling a lot faster and a lot easier. Airplane tickets can be bought in an instant online. If you have the resources, you can even get the best seats in any airlines. Traveling has never been this efficient and comfortable. I wonder though how aircrafts are maintained by the airline companies. They must have a pool of aircraft technicians and an aircraft repair room with complete aircraft harware and supplies.

It must be very costly and hard to maintain aircrafts. That's why airplane tickets don't come cheap. The aircraft technicians have to do a regular canvass and purchase of aircraft screws and aircraft washers, as well as other items that are regularly used. The operations of the airline companies have to be smooth and efficient all the time, so no aircraft should stay in the repair room for days.

OK Magazine Michael Jackson Cover Photo

OK Magazine has the late King of Pop Micheal Jackson on the cover of its latest issue. According to reliable sources, OK Magazine paid $500,000 for the cover photo of the dying Michael Jackson. Reportedly intended to pay tribute to the King of Pop, it's now creating outrage among the legendary pop icon's musician friends and fans. In fact, as of this writing, a petition is ongoing to stop the publication of more copies of OK Magazine Micheal Jackson Cover. They believe that it's not in any way trying to showcase the musical legacy of Michael Jackson but instead, trying to make more money by creating sensationalism on the untimely death of the King of Pop.

OK Magazine

The petition argues that OK Magazine has violated Micheal Jackson’s right to privacy. Sarah Ivens, OK!’s editorial director, is trying to defend the cover as quoted here:

“It’s a photo that captures the surprise and the upset and the moment of this breaking news story . . . I hope the cover will provoke readers. It celebrated the man, but it also does expose that he was an eccentric character who lived a very controversial life.”

Now people, you be the judge. Personally speaking, I find the act blatantly insensitive. Dying Micheal Jackson on the cover of any publication will just add pain to the bereaved family and fans of the King of Pop.

Lisa Marie Presley's Reflection Letter About Michael Jackson and His Controversial Death

Lisa Marie Presley, daughter of music legend Elvis Presley and former wife of the late King of Pop Micheal Jackson must be in unfathomable grief while composing this sort of reflection letter about her former husband who died recently. I was moved by her letter which she published in her My Space account. Here are some heartbreaking excerpts from the said letter...

I am sitting here watching on the news an ambulance leaves the driveway of his home, the big gates, the crowds outside the gates, the coverage, the crowds outside the hospital, the Cause of death and what may have led up to it and the memory of this conversation hit me, as did the unstoppable tears...

All of my indifference and detachment that I worked so hard to achieve over the years has just gone into the bowels of hell and right now I am gutted...

Our relationship was not "a sham" as is being reported in the press. It was an unusual relationship yes, where two unusual people who did not live or know a "Normal life" found a connection, perhaps with some suspect timing on his part. Nonetheless, I do believe he loved me as much as he could love anyone and I loved him very much...

I became very ill and emotionally/ spiritually exhausted in my quest to save him from certain self-destructive behavior and from the awful vampires and leeches he would always manage to magnetize around him...

You can read Lisa Marie Presley's complete letter here.

Ms. Presley, our condolences for the passing of your former husband. And for you MJ, may you find, in the Hands of the Lord, the peace you did not find here on earth.
