The country has over 32,000 new nurses as indicated by the June 2009 PRC Nursing Board Exams Results that the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) released today. From a big number of 77,901, passers were 32,617.
Golda Manto Yap from Felipe Verallo Memorial Foundation in Cebu topped the June 2009 PRC Nursing Board Exams with a rating of 86.90 percent. Second place was Ronie Rose Capati Arevalo of Adamson University, 86.40 percent.
Others in the top 10 spots came from Arellano University, Naga College Foundation, University of Sto. Tomas and University of the Philippines, among others.
