Yes, you heard that right. Ellen Degeneres, comedian and talk show host, has replaced Paula Abdul as American idol judge. Abdul reportedly quit as host of the most-watched reality singing competition American Idol because of some contract dispute. Degeneres is thrilled over the position and said it was a dream come true for her.
Ellen Degeneres seems like a good choice. She's a talk show host and her vast experience and exposure in dealing with various celebrities should see her through the judging of thousands of hopefuls aspiring to be the next American Idol.
