Techie or not, you may have heard about Conficker.A and Conficker.B. They are the PC viruses that have infected thousands of computers (OS, Windows, etc.) and damaged thousands of data recently, to the consternation of IT experts worldwide. Now, the Conficker creator is out to plague the entire IT landscape with a new one called Conficker.C. This PC worm is allegedly set to be released on April 1 (April Fool's Day).
The critical thing about Conficker.C is that "it will detect and kill certain system processes designed to find and remove it." If that would be the case, IT experts should work harder to figure out a way to prevent it from taking its course.
